Discover Our MenuExecutive Chef Jason Ao’s culinary journey began at a young age, peeling potatoes in his uncle’s kitchen for an oxtail stew. The sound of oxtail searing and the rich aromas filling the air piqued his curiosity and sparked a thirst for knowledge. Chef Jason is a graduate of George Brown College’s culinary program, where he had the opportunity to work in Bologna, Italy. Over more than a decade with Marriott, Chef Jason has worked at The Thompson Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, and now at the Delta Grand Okanagan. His experiences abroad and collaborations with renowned chefs have helped him develop his own unique style and culinary vision. He is passionate about experimenting with new ideas and sharing them with others.
