Executive Chef Jason Ao’s culinary journey began at a young age peeling potatoes in his uncle’s home for an oxtail stew. Listening to the sound of oxtail being seared, the smell and the aromas that engulf the air. It piqued his curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Chef Jason is a graduate of George Brown College’s culinary program, where he had the pleasure of working in Bologna, Italy. Working for Marriott for over a decade, Chef Jason has worked in The Thompson Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman and now to the Delta Grand Okanagan. Through his experience working abroad and working with many renown chefs, he has developed his own sense of style and concept.
